Bridgin Power Team

Dennis has over 20 years of credentials in the power sector from his stints at Sembcorp, PwC and ABN AMRO. More recently, he oversaw the financing, development and operation of large-scale CCGTs in Southeast Asia. As the Managing Director, Dennis led the fruition of the first internationally tendered and financed 225MW Myingyan IPP project in Myanmar. He also spent some time as the General Director of the 746MW Phu My 3 CCGT in Vietnam. Dennis sat on the Board of Directors for both assets. He has a Masters of Business (Finance) from Monash University. He also holds an Honours Degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Queensland.

Mitesh has over 20 years of experience in the international power sector, especially in the development, financing, construction, and operations of gas power infrastructures. He brings with him rich know-how from his stints at various reputable South Asian energy developers in the thermal and renewable power sectors. As CEO of its Gas Power Business, he successfully led Shapoorji Pallonji Group’s business development arm in global markets such as Africa and Europe and secured a 650MW gas-based CCPP in Poland as the country’s first private IPP project and also a 225 MW gas-based CCPP in Tanzania. Mitesh is very familiar with the Bangladesh power sector given his key role in the development of the Bhola-II power project. Under his leadership, the project attained successful commissioning and subsequently went through a year of smooth and efficient commercial operations. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat University, India.

Ji Hyung (“Ji”) is an experienced US attorney with almost 20 years’ experience in the field of energy, infrastructure, and sustainability in various jurisdictions across the world. Prior to joining Bridgin Power, she ran her consultancy business in Singapore advising corporate clients. Ji used to also work at Veolia and POSCO group as their lead counsel for energy-related infrastructure projects and handled various legal issues arising from project inception till full operation stage. Her experience included legal reviews of corporate and transactional matters including M&As as well as dispute resolution throughout the full cycle of IPP both in conventional and renewable power across multiple jurisdictions such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan, Latin America, and the USA. Ji is also a member of the Panel of International Arbitrators for KCAB since 2018. She has a Juris Doctor from Rutgers, State University Of New Jersey. She also holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from State University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts from Yonsei University.

Leo has over 30 years of experience in the power & utilities sector with a professional mechanical engineering background. Leo has an extensive track record in greenfield project development which involves O&M team selection, staff training & competency development, plant optimization and the improvement of O&M and HSSE management systems. Leo spent a significant time at Sembcorp’s Salalah IWPP, Myingyan IPP and Phu My 3 projects where he championed initiatives pertaining to succession planning and career development of local technical staff. He was also involved in the plant commissioning and commercial operations of multiple gas power assets globally. Leo holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the Batangas State University in the Philippines as a government National State Scholar. He also completed the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management.

Luke has over 20 years of human resource and business partnering experience. He has elevated HR partnership by driving a people-centric culture in both the private and public sectors. Prior to Bridgin Power, he was with Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering as the Head of HR (Smart Mobility) where he managed the human resource needs of over 1,200 employees across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Latin Americas. He was also previously with SMRT where he led a full suite of key HR functions, including the rebuilt of the workforce trust & capability post-strike, leading to the successful turnover of the Roads business Group, and the establishment of the new Thomson-East Coast MRT line. In the public sector, Luke served in the Ministry of Defence where he championed a wide spectrum of HR matters from operational, to transformational plans and people strategies. Luke holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Portsmouth and a Masters in Human Capital Leadership from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at the Singapore Management University.

Vu has about 10 years of project development & construction experience in Vietnam’s power & energy sector. Prior to Bridgin Power, he was with SK E&S where he proactively explored a 1.6GW LNG-to-power opportunity in North Vietnam. Thermal projects aside, he also sealed M&A transactions relating to 150MW of renewable projects in South Vietnam for the company. He also had a stint at POSCO Energy where he was key to the development of 2.4GW of conventional energy projects in Vietnam. Vu holds a MSc in Business Management from the University of the West of England and a first-class BSc in Construction Management from Hanoi Architectural University.

Winson has over 10 years of credentials in the field of accounting & auditing. Prior to Bridgin Power, he was an accountant at Trio-Tech International, a US listed semi-conductor company. He also previously spent a significant time as an audit associate at KPMG Singapore and Ardent Associates LLP. He also brings with him vast knowledge from his stints at PACC Container Line and Yamaha Motors. Winson holds a Bachelor in Accountancy from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) and is a Chartered Accountant under the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Chi has 11+ years of experience handling corporate, operational, and administrative duties from her stints at various international corporations in Vietnam. Prior to Bridgin Power, she was the Executive Assistant in the General Director’s office at Phu My 3 BOT Power Company Ltd where she meticulously managed key engagements for the company’s top-level executives. She also spent some time in Siemens Vietnam as a purchasing assistant in the supply chain management department. Chi graduated from the Foreign Trade University (HCMC, Vietnam) with a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration.

Industry Advisor

Doug retired from BP in end-2015 with over 25 years of handling major transactions in the gas, LNG, NGLs, power and downstream market. Doug was a currency and energy trader before joining Enron International in Houston in 1993 where he was a leader in the early steps of the merchant LNG business. He joined BP in London in 2000 as the Global Head of LNG and transferred to Singapore in 2006 where he continued to work with BP’s Upstream and Traded LNG portfolio. He also served as the Global Chief Commercial Officer for BP’s Integrated Supply & Trading business. Doug graduated from the Southern Methodist University (1985) and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina (1988).
